# Tasks queued for you (`mttr_queue`)

Updated October 24, 2026.

## What does mttr_queue do?

The tasks you queued for your assistant from your mttr, oldest first, each with its site and the words to work from. A key may make this call on the sites it has claimed.

Who may call it: Your claimed sites.

## When to use it

- Your assistant starts a session.
- An answer says tasks are waiting.

## What you ask

You might say: “Check mttr for tasks I left you.”

```
mttr_queue({})
```

## What comes back

- Each task with its id, its site and the words to work from.
- Nothing, when nothing is waiting.

A sample, with made-up sites and figures:

| Task | Site | Work from |
| --- | --- | --- |
| t_41 | example.com | Show sources on the drain guides |
| t_42 | example.com | Add a tap-to-call link to service pages |

## Over HTTP

```
curl "https://mttr.si/api/v1/account/queue" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MTTR_KEY"
```

## When it fails

| When | Status | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Your assistant has no key yet | 401 over MCP | Sign up with `mttr_signup`, then connect again with the key it gives. |
