# Sites read (`mttr_sites`)

## What does mttr_sites do?

The sites mttr has read, each with its latest score, its page count and the rule to fix first. A key may make this call on the sites it has claimed.

Who may call it: Your claimed sites.

## When to use it

- You want to see the sites you can ask about.
- You want to pick which site to work on.

## What you ask

You might say: “Which of my sites needs the most work?”

| Argument | Type | Needed | What it is |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `q` | Text | No | Text the site name must contain. |
| `state` | One of these: live, draft, blocked | No | Only sites in this state. |
| `sort` | One of these: score, host, pages, runs, at, change | No | What to sort by. |
| `dir` | One of these: asc, desc | No | Which way to sort. |
| `limit` | Number | No | How many to return. |
| `offset` | Number | No | How many to skip, for the next part of a long list. |

## What comes back

- Each site with its score, pages read and first fix.
- 25 at a time, by score unless you ask for another order.

A sample, with made-up sites and figures:

A score says pages are well formed. It does not say an assistant cites the site.

## When it fails

| When | Status | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Your assistant has no key yet | 401 over MCP | Sign up with `mttr_signup`, then connect again with the key it gives. |
