Park City Deck Builder
This beautiful Outdoor Living Deck Build is for one of your Park City neighbors. We removed the original decking on this home as it was poorly installed and weathering.
Part of our process was to stabilize the existing framing, replacing the damaged joist, and straightening the railing. We used Trex Decking with a hidden fastener system and a contrasting border
Crossbeam invites you to take a short tour with us to see how our clients are enjoying their new deck. We begin by appreciating the style of home we worked on beginning in the front.

Now we go to the backyard to see the view of the deck including the underside. The water collection and gutter system keep this area dry and will prevent the decay issues we encountered from the original build.

We begin by appreciating the style of home we worked on beginning in the front. Now we go to the backyard to see the view of the deck including the underside. The water collection and gutter system keep this area dry and will prevent the decay issues we encountered from the original build. Next is the view from the deck toward the Guest Bedroom. Then we get a view from the guest bedroom looking onto the deck. During our renovation, we completely removed the railing to get a seamless finish. Looking from the dining room over the rear deck. The views are stunning in the fall. This is the view from the living room. This larger portion of the deck is above the hot tub below. We incorporated a drainage system that channels any water from the deck into a system that prevents water from dripping through onto the hot tub below. A side view image of the deck and scenery. The existing driveway was the inspiration for the border in the deck material. But we much rather leave you with this stunning view from the deck! Using a border with composite decking helps to break up the texture, prevents unsightly joints in the long run, but the most significant reason we do this is to allow material to expand and contract as temperatures from morning to afternoon in the mountains can be quite different.
