Prop B One Year Later

By Chris Davis

A year ago, Austinites voted to recriminalize homelessness. The passage of Proposition B was a clear message of frustration from our community. But Prop B was not the answer then, and it’s not the answer now.

To understand why, Research & Evaluation Analyst Claire Burrus dug into the data and created these personas – fictional people based on the real-life demographics and experiences of our unhoused population.
