Financing # Financing a custom pool in Arizona. A pool is a significant long term investment, and most of our customers finance some or all of it. We work with two lenders who understand pool projects specifically rather than treating them like any other loan. [Get a free estimate](https://www.saturnpools.com/free-pool-estimate)[Book a design call](https://calendly.com/saturnpools/60min) Lending partners ## Two lenders who know pool projects Rates, terms and approval are set by the lender, not by us. These are the two we see work best for our customers, and you apply to them directly. Since 1979 ### Lyon Financial Lyon Financial has specialised in unsecured pool financing since 1979. Their experience is specific to swimming pools rather than general lending, and your call is answered by a person who understands what a pool project actually involves. + Low, fixed rates + Loans up to $200,000 + Terms up to 30 years + No consulting fees and no prepayment penalties + No equity or appraisals required + Electronic documents for faster approval [Learn more about Lyon Financial](https://www.lyonfinancial.net/dealer/saturn-pool-company-inc-az/) Arizona credit union ### Credit Union West Credit Union West offers two routes to the same result. A home equity loan draws on the equity already in your home, or a personal loan funds the project without touching it. Repayment terms run up to 180 months. + Home equity loan, using the equity in your home + Personal loan, no equity required + Repayment terms up to 180 months + Apply online directly Read the details: [Home Equity Loan](https://www.cuwest.org/borrowing/home-improvement-loans/home-equity) or [Personal Loan](https://www.cuwest.org/borrowing/family-life-loans/personal-loans). All rates, terms, loan amounts and approvals are determined by the lender and are subject to their criteria. Confirm current terms directly with Lyon Financial or Credit Union West before relying on them. Planning a budget ## What actually moves the number. Before you talk to a lender it helps to know roughly what you are borrowing for. These are the four things that shift a pool budget most, in our experience. [Get a free estimate first](https://www.saturnpools.com/free-pool-estimate) 01 ### Size, shape and depth The shell is the foundation of the cost. A larger or deeper pool means more excavation, more steel, more concrete and more water to heat and treat for as long as you own it. 02 ### What is in the ground Caliche and desert rock make Arizona excavation harder than most places. Access matters too. A tight side gate or a steep lot changes how the work has to be done. 03 ### Finishes and decking Interior finish, tile, coping and the deck around the pool are where budgets move most visibly. This is also where spending well pays back over the life of the pool. 04 ### Features and equipment Water features, fire, lighting, heating and automation all add to the build, and some add to the running cost. We will tell you which are worth it for how you plan to use the yard. One last thing ## Ready when you are. One call reaches both design and the owner. Tell us about the yard, and we will tell you honestly what it takes to build the pool you have in mind.
