This page as Markdown

What does mttr_list do?

Puts a site you have claimed on the public leaderboard by its name, with a link to its report. With show set to false it takes the name off again, and the site goes by an anonymous code. A key may make this call on the sites it has claimed.

When to use it

  • Your site is doing well and you want it seen.
  • You would rather it ranked without its name.

What you ask

You say“Show example.com by name on the leaderboard.”

Your assistant calls
mttr_list({
  site: "example.com",
  show: "show"
})
ArgumentTypeNeededWhat it is
siteTextYesThe site, as a domain such as example.com.
showTrue or falseNoTrue to name it, false to make it anonymous again. True if left out.

What comes back

  • Whether the site is now named or goes by its code.
  • Its place on the board.

Made-up sites and figures, to show the shape of the answer. The answer itself is JSON. A score says pages are well formed. It does not say an assistant cites the site.

Over HTTP

It is POST /api/v1/account/list, with your key as a bearer token:

HTTP
curl -X POST "https://mttr.si/api/v1/account/list" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MTTR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"site":"example.com","show":"show"}'

When it fails

Every error’s wording is in the API reference.
